Baptism in the Name of Lord Jesus Christ!
In what is called as the great commission, Jesus said: Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (Mt 28:19).
But on the day of Pentecost after the Holy Spirit was poured out, the apostles taught to be baptised in the NAME of the LORD :
Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38)
It is at the council of Nicea (AD325) the creed was formed & later at the council of Constantinople (AD381) where the doctrine of trinity (three distinct co-eternal persons!) all sort of human doctrine was introduced later-on including changing the formula of Baptism. All through out the Book of Acts, apostles baptised in Jesus Name!! (Direct - Acts 2:38, 8:16, 10:48, 19:5; Indirect - Acts 22:16, 1 Cor 1:13, 1 Cor 6:11, Col 3:17). . God also revealed to me about the truth by comparing Acts 2:38 and Mat 28:19 you will see that the "NAME of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" is the NAME of Jesus Christ.
To Conclude:
We should be baptised in the NAME of Lord Jesus Christ
We should be baptised by immersion!
We should be baptised only after coming to the realisation of what it truly means
