22And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: 23"Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: 24"The LORD bless you and keep you; 25The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; 26The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace." (Num 6:22-26)Ps 32:1-9
Concience - about your transgressions (v4)
Confession - your sins (v5)
Celebration - Praise & worship - songs (v7)
Then 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.
Promise - bilateral, to receive the promise
- we have to about it (knowledge)
- We have to understand it (understanding)
- We have to act on it by claiming it (realisation)
How can we understand Gods promises?
Understand the promise - the context, what, who, why...
Ask critical questions - (un)conditional? (un)limited (to people)?
Claim (stand-on) it - Excercise Faith - ask God
Act on it - Change the life-style as per the promise
EPH 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
GAL 3:14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
